Island Biome is one of the 35 unique biomes in PokéRogue, featuring mainly water-based Pokémon. In this tropical environment, players can catch Pokémon in a variety of forms. The weather in Island Biome is usually intensely sunny, which provides good conditions for catching Pokémon.Nessa, the Gym Leader in PokéRogue, brings a unique battle experience with her Pokémon combinations featuring Water-types. In Classic Mode and Daily Run, the biome changes after every 10 waves, while in Endless Mode, the biome changes randomly between waves 1 and 4.

This biome can only be accessed through beaches with a low probability. If the player has a map, there is a 50% chance that this biome will appear in the options when moving, increasing the fun and opportunity for exploration. However, without a map, the player’s chance of entering this biome while moving is reduced to 25%. This mechanic encourages players to actively seek out and acquire maps throughout the game to increase their chances of entering that biome to catch unique Pokémon and experience different battle environments.
