Overview

Mabosstiff is a ninth-generation Pokémon with an evil attribute that resides in Abyss Biome. It evolved from Maschiff evolved when it reached level 30. Its appearance looks similar to that of a large dog, with gray fur. A large gill underneath allows it to store energy to fight enemies. Its traits allow it to reduce its opponent’s attack power in battle, giving it an advantage in the matchup. Mabosstiff plays an important role in the Pokerogue games and is a favorite Pokémon of trainers.

Abilities
1. Intimidate – When a Pokémon enters battle or gains this ability, it is able to intimidate its opponent and lower its attack. In a two-player battle, both players’ attacks are lowered. 2. Guard Dog – When a Pokémon receives Intimidate, the Pokémon’s ability to attack is increased. Moves and items that force a Pokémon to switch will also be disabled. 3. Hidden Ability: Stakeout – When the target Pokémon is switched, it doubles the damage dealt to the target replacement.
