The Metropolis Biome is a modern urban environment in PokéRogue, one of 35 biomes. This biome mainly features Normal and Evil Pokémon. At night, there are also specific Pokémon that appear at night. Such as Houndour and Meowstic, adding variety to the captures. During this biome, players can also challenge a number of Gym Leaders, including Iono, Larry, Norman, and Whitney, who use a variety of Normal and Electr type Pokémon to add challenge to battles. In Classic Mode and Daily Run, the biome changes every 10 waves. In Endless Mode, the biome changes randomly every 1 to 4 waves.

The Metropolis Biome is a biome that can only be accessed randomly from the Plains. Once inside the Metropolis Biome, the player is anchored in this biome. The environment is filled with skyscrapers and busy streets, providing the player with a unique exploration experience.
